Before married for the third time, Usher stated that he was removing any toxicity from prior relationships in order to maintain friendship with his ex-partners.
In an interview with The Post, the Yeah singer stated: “[I] have come out of toxic relationships that are no longer toxic.”
Addressing his ex-partners, the Grammy winner stated, “I can be clear that, ‘Yo, we don’t have to be the best of friends, but we also don’t have to be enemies.'”
“‘We have something that is incredible — our past — but our present is based off of how we choose to look at it.”
He went on to say, “We do not have to be enemies. We can be positive toward one another. “Life gave me that experience.”
Aside from that, the 45-year-old shared positive news about his marital status at his high-powered 2024 Super Bowl appearance.
The musician married fiancée Jenn Goicoechea after obtaining a marriage license on February 8.
Meanwhile, Usher has been married three times and has four children.
