Prince Harry and Meghan Markle former UK home, Frogmore Cottage, has appeared in newly released files linked to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation involving Prince Andrew.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex lived at Frogmore Cottage after their wedding in 2018. They stayed there for about two years before moving to the United States. The latest claims are linked to a period long before they lived at the property.
New documents released by the United States Department of Justice on December twenty two include serious but unproven allegations. The files suggest the Windsor estate property may have been used during the mid nineteen nineties for abusive gatherings.
The claims come from a person who is now thirty five years old. They allege that between the ages of six and eight, they were drugged by their father and taken to several locations in Surrey. Frogmore Cottage is listed as one of those places.
The complainant further claims they were restrained and subjected to electric shocks. Ghislaine Maxwell is accused of being involved. Prince Andrew and other men were allegedly present. These claims have not been proven in court.
Surrey Police confirmed that no report related to these allegations was made in the past. Because of this, the police force has started reviewing the matter and will seek help from the FBI to access the redacted files.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said all reports of child abuse are taken seriously. Authorities have encouraged anyone with information to come forward through official reporting channels.
The documents also mention emails in which Maxwell allegedly discussed arranging companions for someone named Andrew in Epstein contacts. Officials say these messages do not suggest criminal behavior.
