Although he adamantly denied inventing them, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur acknowledged on Monday that there are conflicts and factions within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
At Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail, the KP chief minister told reporters, “I request [party workers] not to become part of groupings,” and urged PTI leaders and activists to remain united.
Although CM Gandapur visited the Central Jail in Rawalpindi today, he was not allowed to meet with PTI founder Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated, by the authorities.
