Regarding his part in the forthcoming film Jay Kelly, George Clooney has been candid.
Clooney told People Magazine at the film’s premiere that he’s “lucky” not to look like his character, who embarks on a self-discovery journey with his manager Ron (played by Adam Sandler).
“He’s a guy who’s just so sad about his career and his life, because he didn’t have friends and family,” Clooney said, adding, “We have the same hair and we’re the same height.” In a strange sense, he continued, there aren’t many similarities.
“He surrounded himself with people that he paid,” he continued.
Clooney remarked, “And I’ve been very lucky to not have to do that.”
