As previously revealed, Gigi Hadid tried out for the part of Rapunzel in Disney’s canceled live-action “Tangled” remake.
In an interview with Vogue, where she was featured on the cover and had an open conversation with her friend Kendall Jenner, the disclosure was made.
Hadid, who is more well-known for her modeling work, prepared for the audition by taking vocal lessons. She remarked, “I was really proud of my scene.” “The singing… I’ll show you my audition scene later, but I knew they would choose a professional vocalist.
The initial rumors about Disney’s “Tangled” remake surfaced in late 2024, with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson attached to the script and Michael Gracey in talks to direct.
