In recent weeks, Mike Tyson and Jake Paul have been intensifying their verbal sparring and intense training videos directed at each other.
Paul stated he has greater goals in mind for the bout, which was just officially sanctioned, when he enters the ring on July 20.
“I cherish Mike. I have the utmost respect for him. Being in the ring with him is an honor. However, I have to end him,” Paul said to USA Today on Sunday at the Formula One Grand Prix of Miami.
“War is raging. In battle and love, all is fair. The YouTuber-turned-boxer continued, “I love the guy, but as soon as it turned into a pro fight, one of us has to die.”
