Gold prices in Pakistan and around the world fell for a second day in a row.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reports that 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,100 per tola on Friday, to Rs387,500. In a same vein, 10 grams of gold now cost Rs332,218 after falling Rs943.
There was also a shift in the global gold market, as the price of gold fell by $11 to $3,657 per ounce.
However, the price of silver in Pakistan showed the opposite trend, with 10g of 24-karat silver selling for Rs3,812 and a tola of 24-karat silver rising by Rs29 to Rs4,447.
