In Pakistan and around the world, the price of gold plummeted a day after holding its record high.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs4,100 on Thursday to Rs384,000, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell to Rs329,218 after falling by Rs3,515.
A change was also observed in the worldwide gold market, as the price of gold per ounce fell by $36 to $3,618.
The price of a tola of 24-karat silver dropped by Rs32 to Rs4,326 in Pakistan, where silver prices likewise followed this pattern.
