ISLAMABAD: For registered pilgrims who are unable to complete the Hajj because of extraordinary circumstances, the government has promised a relief.
Any other family member of a person who has passed away or is very ill may perform the Hajj in their place, according to a policy released by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The paper states that if someone is unable to do the Hajj because of a necessity, they can also designate another person or choose to receive a refund.
Documentary verification of the registered pilgrim’s illness or death has also been deemed necessary, according to the document, which also stipulates that a good justification must be provided for a refund or for sending a substitute for the Hajj.
