Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a significant drop in the price of petroleum products, relieving consumers all throughout the nation and significantly lessening the burden on individuals.
As to the Ministry of Finance’s official announcement, the cost of gasoline has been reduced by Rs 6.17 per liter, amounting to Rs 269.77. In a similar vein, the price of diesel has dropped by Rs 10.86 a litre, to Rs 272.77.
Users of kerosene and light diesel have also received assistance from the government. Light diesel now costs Rs 160.53 per liter, down Rs 5.72 from the previous price, while kerosene now costs Rs 177.39 per liter, down Rs 5.72.
