On Tuesday, the ruling administration made the decision to provide political parties confidence on the security conditions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
Details indicate that Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has invited all heads of the legislative branches to a meeting where security authorities would give a thorough briefing on the subject.
Political leaders were asked for recommendations by the administration to enhance security in these areas, which have seen a rise in unrest in recent months.
A modification to the constitution
A few days ago, Sadiq declared that, following the constitutional revision, there is no possibility of the Supreme Court’s (SC) ruling regarding reserved seats being implemented.
Details indicate that Sadiq wrote to Pakistan’s Election Commission (ECP).
