ISLAMABAD: In line with the benefits provided to civil servants, the federal government has declared that it will provide an ad hoc relief payment for 2024 to the executive and supervisory staff of autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations and businesses.
The News said on Thursday that this decision, however, will only be applicable to those workers of the aforementioned organizations who have completely embraced the federal government’s pay scales program.
Recall that as of July 1, 2024, civil servants in grades 1 through 16 received 25% of the base wage, and those in grades 17 through 22 received 20%.
Employees of corporations and autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies will also be paid at this rate, per an office memo released by the Finance Division.
