DUBAI: In response to the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) complaint against their on-field celebrations, Pakistani opener Sahibzada Farhan and right-arm quick Haris Rauf “submitted their written responses and presented their cases strongly” before International Cricket Council (ICC) match referee Ritchie Richardson, according to sources who spoke to News.
Richardson asked the players about the alleged incidents throughout the hearing. The sources also said that both cricket players made compelling arguments in their written answers.
