Haris Rauf, a fast bowler for Pakistan, made waves off the field as much as on it in a fierce Super Four match in the Asia Cup 2025.
Rauf made a hand gesture that instantly attracted notice in response to taunts from some Indian onlookers while he was guarding the boundary during India’s innings.
Standing at the boundary, Rauf raised his fingers to indicate “6-0” before making a spectacular hand gesture in which he simulated flying a jet up and then crashing it down.
Naturally, the Pakistan Air Force’s significant victory in May, when six Indian jets, primarily French Rafales, were supposedly shot down in a historic air combat, immediately came to mind for anyone watching.
