A run-down portion of a hotel in Sharda crashed into the Neelum River, rescuing seven people from the river.
Officials said that the tragedy happened when a section of the riverbank-based, wooden hotel structure collapsed under the weight of a sizable crowd.
All seven of the victims were saved from the powerful currents in the Neelum River by motorboats that were on the scene.
After that, all seven people were saved and brought to a nearby hospital.
According to police reports, the majority of the hotel’s construction was done with wood, and crowding was probably the cause of the tragedy.
