Ahead of the premiere of House of the Dragon Season 3, HBO has officially announced that the hit series is renewed for Season 4, scheduled to release in 2028.
HBO CEO Casey Bloys shared the exciting update during a presentation, also confirming that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will return for a second season.
“We’re thrilled to bring fans new seasons of these iconic series over the next three years,” said Francesca Orsi, HBO’s EVP of programming. She added, “House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms showcase the vast and immersive world George R. R. Martin has created.”
Orsi further teased fans: “In January, audiences will be captivated by the inspiring adventures of Dunk and Egg, beautifully brought to life by George and Ira Parker. This summer, House of the Dragon promises to return with some of its most epic battles yet.”
With these renewals, HBO continues to expand the Game of Thrones universe, keeping fans eagerly anticipating more dragons, intrigue, and legendary tales.
