After learning that full-back Treigh Stewart was allegedly involved in a domestic abuse incident in Australia, Hull FC withdrew their offer of a contract.
The 23-year-old was supposed to travel to England this week, but he instead inked an 18-month contract with the Super League team last Thursday.
The Brisbane Tigers player will not be joining the Black and Whites, though, as they have already announced.
Hull FC issued a statement saying, “The club takes a strong zero-tolerance policy on all forms of domestic violence.”
