Jerry O’Connell said that if the Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl, Travis Kelce will ask Taylor Swift to marry him.
The Talk host speculated that the NFL player and Anti-Hero hitmaker would make their engagement public amid rumors that they have already become engaged.
“If the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, and I think they will, I think we are going to see a Super Bowl and an engagement happen,” O’Connell said in a recent episode of his podcast.
This comes after Swift, Taylor, and Kelce were reportedly “engaged” on New Year’s Eve, but the couple did not feel ready to announce the news publicly just yet, according to a Daily Mail article that cited Deux Moi.
When they were photographed locking lips in Kansas City, the singer and the athlete allegedly made a pact to live out the rest of their lives together.
The Deux Moi podcast’s unknown creator revealed the information. Citing an unnamed insider, they stated that “Taylor and Travis got engaged on December 31.”
The allegation went on, “They did it just the two of them alone before that party they were photographed at.”
They continued, though, by adding that the couple has “so much on their plate in the coming months” and that they are not yet ready to make the announcement of their engagement.
