ISLAMABAD In a recent development, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) postponed on Thursday the ruling of single-bench Justice Babar Sattar, which had dismissed Major General (retd) Hafeez Ur Rehman, the chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), from his position.
The federal government, the PTA, and the ousted chairman filed intra-court appeals, which were heard by a two-member division bench made up of Justices Muhammad Asif and Inaam Ameen Minhas.
In court, advocate Qasim Wadud represented retired Major General Hafeez Ur Rehman.
