RAWALPINDI: According to The News on Thursday, Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has instructed Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and his sister Aleema Khan to abstain from publicly disparaging one another in an effort to ease internal party tensions.
PTI Senator Ali Zafar, who met with the former prime minister and briefed reporters outside the Adiala jail, delivered the directive.
According to him, Imran has called CM Gandapur in for an urgent meeting at the prison on Thursday (today).
In response to rumors, Zafar stated that Imran had summoned the KP CM to Adiala urgently for a meeting rather than a punishment. He added that the removal of the chief minister was not discussed.
