In an effort to preserve order during Hazrat Imam Hussain’s (AS) Chehlum, the Sindh Home Department has banned motorcycle pillion riding in certain regions of the province.
The Sindh Home Department has announced that from August 25 to 27, there would be no pillion riding in the South Zone of Karachi. The prohibition will take effect on August 26 in the East Zone and on August 25 and 26 in the West Zone.
The notice also adds that the ban would be in effect in Dadu and Sajjawal from August 25 to 27, as well as in Hyderabad and Thatta on August 25 and 26.
