Overnight on September 25 and 26, security forces carried out a successful intelligence-based operation that resulted in the elimination of eight terrorists in the Razmak area of the North Waziristan district.
The action was directed towards a rumored terrorist presence.
An heavy firefight broke out between security personnel and the terrorists as a result of the operation, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The statement verified that “eight terrorists were sent to hell as a result of the confrontation.”
The terrorists, who were allegedly involved in a number of terrorist acts, including attacks on security personnel and the deliberate slaughter of innocent bystanders, were found to have firearms and ammunition during the operation.
As security personnel continue their endeavor to secure the region, sanitation activities are being carried out to guarantee that no militants are hiding there.
