The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) was seeking the support of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the legislature.
According to insiders, the PTI leadership emphasized the necessity for cooperation in order to give the current government a “tough time” in the parliament during their meeting with JUI-F supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Additionally, both sides had emphasized how important it was to lessen the divisions between the workers and the leadership.
Concurrently, the topic concerning the formation of committees to further bilateral collaboration was also deliberated.
The PTI and JUI-F also made presentations of their various suggestions at the conference.
