In an attempt to ease tensions with the ruling ally, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) decided on Sunday to confer beforehand with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on “significant policies.”
Following the general elections on February 8, the PML-N and PPP’s coordination committee convened at the Punjab Governor’s House in Lahore to discuss matters pertaining to the execution of their power-sharing agreement.
The conference was co-chaired by Raja Pervez Ashraf and Ishaq Dar, with attendance from Ali Haider Gilani, Malik Ahmed Khan, Azam Nazeer Tarar, and Rana Sanaullah Hassan Murtaza.
The summit decided to gradually execute the remaining provisions of the power-sharing deal, according to sources who spoke with News.
