An Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement on Friday stated that security forces in North and South Waziristan had carried out two distinct operations in which as many as twelve terrorists were killed and up to six troops were murdered.
12 Khwarij [terrorists] were killed in two intense battles between our forces and the terrorists on September 19, 2024, in the districts of North and South Waziristan, according to a statement released by the military’s media wing.
The security forces, in the Spinwam area of District North Waziristan, reportedly caught sight of the activities of seven terrorists who were attempting to enter Pakistan across the Afghanistan border.
All seven extremists were surrounded and killed by security forces during a fierce battle, but they were able to successfully halt the infiltration attempt.
