In the second Asia Cup encounter on Wednesday, India defeated the United Arab Emirates by a commanding nine wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Details show that India won the toss and bowled first, dismissing the UAE for a respectable 57 runs in 13.1 overs. India’s bowlers split the wickets, with Varun Chakravarthy and Jasprit Bumrah each taking one, Shivam Dube taking three, and Kuldeep Yadav taking four.
Due to frequent wicket losses, the UAE’s innings never really got going. Alishan Sharafu, the opener, scored the most runs with 22 off of 17 balls. Muhammad Waseem, the captain, scored 19 before being bowled out by Kuldeep Yadav.
