Allegations have been made against India that it organized false flag operations in Jammu and Kashmir with the intention of deflecting attention from domestic political problems and gaining support in the wake of electoral defeats.
The administration of Narendra Modi is alleged to have resorted to desperate tactics after a close election result that fell short of expectations. Modi’s slogan “ab ki bar, char soo par” (this time, more than 400 seats), according to critics, has failed and forced a tactical retreat towards divisive measures.
Following Modi’s swearing-in event, a number of incidents have occurred in Jammu and Kashmir. Reports in the Indian media have claimed that Pakistan attacked, however analysts now say that these claims were made up.
