KARACHI: When India and Pakistan, longtime rivals, play each other in the ICC Women’s World Cup on October 5 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, there are worries that India may politicize cricket once more.
In a social media post, Indian sports journalist Boria Majumdar implied that the forthcoming women’s match would have the same off-field problems that were shown during the most recent Asia Cup, when India’s men’s squad was criticized for acting in an unsportsmanlike manner.
