While investigations into the death of Sikh politician Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada are still ongoing, Indian media has accused Pakistani agents of being involved in his murder.
The Canadian government claimed on September 18 of last year that India was responsible for Nijjar’s death. In relation to the case, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) of India has already had multiple operatives arrested by the Canadian police.
Additionally, the United States has verified that India was involved in the attempt to kill Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, another prominent Sikh, which supports the concerns of Indian intelligence operations outside.
Canada expelled an Indian ambassador who was allegedly working as a RAW station commander under diplomatic cover during the course of the probe.
These events refute allegations made by the Indian media that Pakistan was involved in Nijjar’s murder. The charges don’t seem to be supported by anything.
