KARACHI: Prof. Nasim Ahmed Memon, the chairman of the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi (BIEK), said on Wednesday that the exams would begin on June 1.
“The intermediate exams will be held from June 1 as it is not possible to conduct them from May 28,” stated the chairman.
According to Memon, the board has asked the minister of education for permission to prolong the tests by four days. He went on to say that 21 higher secondary schools had been designated as exam centers.
The chairman announced that the matric tests would take place in the evening, and the inter exams would take place in the morning in the centers.
The chairman announced that the matric exams had been postponed because of the heat.
