An important five-day training program was successfully ended in Karachi by the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the Pakistan Single Window (PSW).
This workshop, which took place from August 19 to 23, was a crucial part of PSW’s larger plan to expand its global reach and fortify relationships with international partners. Its goal was to strengthen the domain and technical teams of PSW by bringing their procedures into compliance with the WCO data model guidelines.
The training’s main goal was to align Pakistan’s trade data standards with global norms, which is a necessary first step toward raising the effectiveness and efficiency of cross-border trade activities. This project intends to expedite trade and customs operations by standardizing data needs of customs and other agencies while upholding worldwide data standards on cross-border trade.
