Someone seemed to have forgotten to stop the audio when coach Teresa Weatherspoon, rookie phenom Angel Reese, and starting guard Marina Mabrey were waiting for questions from reporters at their desk.
The trio could be seen in a press conference video, seemingly overhearing a discussion about someone’s “intimate relationship,” and their expressions were amusing. Weatherspoon, Reese, and Mabrey appeared to be stunned even after the person’s audio was silenced.
Later, Reese responded to the experience.
She scribbled, “I was shook,” on X.
Reese managed to break the record for the most straight double-doubles by a player even though the Sky lost to the Storm.
With her thirteenth, she beat Candace Parker’s record. Reese is the only rookie averaging a double-double this year with 17 points and 14 rebounds.

“I’m just trying to be consistent for my teammates, doing whatever I can to help my team,” Reese told the news. “I think I didn’t do enough tonight, but just being able to be there for my teammates and knowing that I have a job to do every day, no matter if I’m a rookie or a vet,”
