On Thursday, Kevin Costner shared the introduction to social media of a new family member.
On Instagram, the “Yellowstone” actor flaunted a cute yellow Labrador dog.
A carousel of photos posted online was labeled, “Newest addition to the family,” by him. “I’m already in love with this special guy.”
Celebrating his 69th birthday, Kevin Costner shares a throwback photo of himself as a little child, “who had big dreams.”
Costner was leaning against his truck, watching his new puppy run across the grass. He was wearing jeans and a blue flannel shirt.
After sharing a cute black-and-white photo of themselves, the two new best buddies settled down to relax on the ground.
After his divorce with Christine Baumgartner in 2023, Kevin Costner turned his attention to the New Horizon.
Longtime animal lover Costner collaborated with The Orange Dog in 2010 to save four-legged companions from overcrowded shelters.
The “Field of Dreams” star traveled with his close friend Daisy when the canines were flown by private jet from California to Edmonton, Canada.
“When this plane is operating at its best, it’s not just taking people around the world, it’s hauling animals,” Costner stated to “Access Hollywood” that day.
“In essence, animals who were scheduled for euthanasia are traded. Having a second chance at life, they are now traveling to Canada rather than letting that happen. My heart was touched by [the charity]. The last puppy we saved was about to be put to sleep and, unbelievably, the pilot adopted the dog before we could reach Canada.
“You can imagine this luxurious, five-star mode of transportation was just stuffed with dogs—I believe the first voyage carried more than fifty dogs, and the second trip included, I believe, 115 dogs on this plane.
