With physical development reaching 71%, the Islamabad IT Park, which is now under construction, is expected to generate 10,000 job possibilities for the nation’s youth.
An official from the Ministry of IT claims that a $76.3 million loan from South Korea, obtained on extremely favorable terms, is being used to develop the historic project.
He claimed that in order to realize Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s “Digital Pakistan” vision, the cornerstone of an IT park in Islamabad, with assistance from Korea, was placed in Chak Shahzad.
Additionally, it will support technology commercialization, link tertiary education with production, encourage research and development, improve IT exports, and boost industry competitiveness by facilitating technology transfer through industry and academic links.
