According to Lebanese official media, Israeli airstrikes on Friday struck a remote region of southern Lebanon. A source close to Hezbollah reported three deaths, including two Syrian nationals.
According to the state-run National News Agency of Lebanon, “Israeli strikes targeted Najjariyeh and Addousiyeh,” two nearby towns located roughly 30 kilometers (19 miles) south of the coastal city of Sidon and close to the Israeli border.
NNA reported on “victims” but did not provide details.
Two Syrians and a Lebanese male were among the three individuals slain in Najjariyeh, according to a source close to Hezbollah that spoke to AFP.
Hezbollah claimed that a “attack drone carrying two S5 rockets,” which are typically fired from jets, was used to carry out the strike.
