In response to an onslaught on the Gaza city of Rafah, where hundreds of thousands of civilians are seeking refuge from shelling elsewhere in Palestinian territory, President Joe Biden previously declared that the United States would stop providing Israel with offensive armaments.
In a video message, the prime minister of Israel declared, “We will stand alone if we have to.”
“We’ll fight with our fingernails if necessary. But our possessions go far beyond fingernails.”
A named Israeli official stated that Israel will move on despite humanitarian organizations’ concerns over a full-scale invasion of Rafah.
Additionally, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, the top spokesman for the armed forces, stated that his force has the weapons needed for the missions.
“The army has armaments for the missions it plans, and we have what we need for the missions in Rafah too,” he declared.
