A humorous incident occurred at the toss of the India vs. Oman Asia Cup T20 match when both captains neglected to identify the players who had been substituted in respective teams.
Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakaravarthy were rested as part of India’s lineup alterations.
“Harshit comes in, there is one more guy,” said Captain Suryakumar Yadav, who was only able to remember one replacement and had forgotten the other. “Oh my god!”
