The 23-year-old moved to Old Trafford in a £73m transfer from German club Dortmund in July 2021.
After a falling out with manager Erik ten Hag, he hasn’t played for United since August 26. Since September, he has been practicing apart from the first team.
There is no buyout option in the loan agreement.
