Incident in Tarzana Home
Actor James Handy, aged 81, has died after a violent attack at his home in Tarzana, Los Angeles. Police said he was found in the front garden with multiple stab wounds to his chest after emergency calls were made on Wednesday.
Officers arrived after a caller reported unusual activity and made alarming statements during the call to emergency services.
Arrest Made in the Case
Authorities arrested a 44 year old man, identified as the son of Handy’s girlfriend, on suspicion of murder. Police confirmed that he lived at the same property.
Investigators believe this was an isolated case and said there is no ongoing risk to the public.
