However, Blades’ resignation was communicated to the education charity on Sunday.
The popular BBC show, which portrays people getting their furniture restored, has Blades as its face. Blades was awarded an MBE for services to craft in 2022.
Later in the year, the 14th series is scheduled to air.
Blades made her appearance at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday. West Mercia Police had accused Blades of one count of using coercive or controlling behavior in an intimate or familial connection.
According to court documents, the complaint concerns his wife Lisa Zbozen, a fitness teacher, who declared their breakup on her Instagram page on May 2.
The day after Ms. Zbozen’s post, police were called to an address and opened an inquiry.
