Lucy Regulation said 19-year-old Jay Slater is “not an idiotic kid” and would have waved to any passing vehicle or addressed passers by.
His mom, a group of mountain heros, and the nearby polite gatekeeper are looking for him after he vanished while holidaying with companions.

Ms Regulation said he rang her to say he “didn’t have the foggiest idea where he was”, that he “could have really used a beverage” and had “cut his leg on a cactus”.

In spite of his cell phone battery being down to 1% he figured out how to send her a photograph of his area.

At the point when she advised him to get back to where he had strolled from, he said he didn’t have the foggiest idea where that was, Ms Regulation said.

He was without food and water, she added, and had been in a Shirt and shorts. “It’s extremely warm in the day and freezing around evening time,” she told the UK This evening program on News.

“So in the day he will be truly warm without a beverage, and afterward around evening time he will be freezing with next to no reasonable dress.”
Ms Regulation and others have printed off banners in both Spanish and English and have put them “all over”, she said.
