When asked about the situation in Palestine, the Oscar-winning actress, who was in Spain to promote her new movie “Die My Love” and accept the Donostia Award, replied passionately. She declared, “What is taking place is unacceptable and is no less than a genocide.” “I’m terrified for my children, for all of our children,” she continued, expressing special concern for children.
Lawrence also criticized the political climate in the United States. According to her, the contemporary political atmosphere is characterized by a lack of empathy and integrity.
