According to News, the show will return to ABC on Tuesday following a week-long ban that prompted reactions from both fans and Hollywood celebrities.
Following criticism over his comments regarding the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, the host of the late-night show was unexpectedly removed from the program.
The company that owns it, Disney, issued a statement to address the matter.
The statement continued, “Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country.”
