Jo Koy, host of the Golden Globes, made a crude remark that embarrassed Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry.
The Hollywood A-listers flocked to the red carpet on Sunday, but the royal couple chose not to attend the 2024 Golden Globes.

In addition to criticizing the ‘wealthy, white, and dysfunctional’ Royal Family, Jo Koy made fun of Archie and Lilibet’s parents in his introductory remarks.
“Harry and Meghan Markle got paid millions for doing absolutely nothing,” the Golden Globes presenter joked, taking a pointed jab at the royal couple’s Netflix arrangement. And that’s only from Netflix.
“Succession has nine nominations,” added Koy. Oh wait, that’s The Crown, a fantastic television series about a wealthy, white, dysfunctional family full of schemes. I apologize.

Koy had earlier made jokes about Taylor Swift while she wasn’t with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, during the ceremony.
