Jamal Murray, the point guard for the Nuggets, contributed 16 points. “Whenever he gets it going like that, you let him dictate how the game’s going to go,” Murray said.
“Being at home and winning the trophy tonight most likely gave him a little extra motivation.
The place was rocking and it was a lot of fun. Since he was winning, the strategy was to give him the ball and trust that he would figure it out.”
Game six of the series is scheduled for Thursday in Minneapolis.
