MVP awards have been given out a record six times to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, five times to Michael Jordan and Bill Russell, and four times to Wilt Chamberlain and LeBron James.
Jokic is the third three-time winner behind Magic Johnson, Moses Malone, and Larry Bird.
“It’s a special moment I’m probably going to remember my whole life,” Jokic, who is 29, added. “It’s – I like to say- a legacy for after [your] career.”
