Since Virgin River started showing in 2025, fans have been envisioning a crossover between the popular Netflix series and Ransom Canyon.
Josh Duhamel, the star of Ransom Canyon, has now offered his thoughts on the matter.
He told US Weekly, “That’s the first I’ve ever heard of that idea,” in response to a question about whether executives are thinking about a crossover.
But if one requirement is satisfied, the actor is receptive to the concept.
“If it’s good, I’m in,” he continued. “If it’s forced, no thanks.”
Ransom Canyon follows Staten Kirkland, played by Duhamel, as he navigates his connection with Quinn (Minka Kelly), a childhood friend, while simultaneously grieving the loss of both his wife and son. A love triangle involving Staten, Quinn, and Davis (Eoin Macken) intensifies the drama.
