Following 18 years of marriage, the 51-year-old Canadian prime minister and his 48-year-old wife announced their separation in August.
Mr. Trudeau announced the decision on Instagram, stating that it was reached after “many meaningful and difficult conversations.”
The politician and the former model and TV presenter married in May 2005 and have three children – Xavier, 16, Ella-Grace, 14, and nine-year-old Hadrien.
