From September 7 to 10, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted sporadic, intense rainfall throughout Sindh, raising the possibility of urban flooding in low-lying sections of Karachi and numerous other cities.
A low-pressure system that is presently over Madhya Pradesh, India, is predicted by the PMD to proceed towards neighboring regions of Rajasthan and eventually reach portions of Sindh by September 6. Strong monsoon currents are predicted to begin penetrating Sindh and eastern Punjab on September 6 under this system.
