Within the next 24 hours, rain is expected throughout Pakistan, including Karachi, according to a forecast released on Saturday by the National Emergencies Operation Centre (NEOC) of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
Over the next 12 to 24 hours, NEOC predicts intermittent rainfall in certain areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Islamabad.
The upper catchment areas of important rivers, such as the Jhelum, Ravi, and Sutlej, are predicted to have rainfall.
Showers are expected to come and go in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mianwali, Hafizabad, Sargodha, and Khushab, Punjab.
